We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Athletic Director to lead and manage our institution’s athletic programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the athletic department, including budgeting, staffing, compliance, and program development. Key responsibilities include developing strategic plans for athletic programs, hiring and evaluating coaching staff, coordinating game schedules and travel logistics, and managing fundraising and promotional activities. The Athletic Director will also serve as a liaison between the athletic department and other departments within the institution, as well as with external stakeholders such as alumni, donors, and athletic associations.
A successful candidate will have a deep understanding of sports management, a commitment to student development, and the ability to make data-driven decisions. They should be adept at conflict resolution, team building, and cultivating a culture of integrity and sportsmanship. Experience in budget management, NCAA or other athletic association compliance, and public relations is highly desirable.
This is a full-time position that may require evening and weekend hours to attend games and events. The Athletic Director will report directly to the institution’s senior leadership and will play a critical role in shaping the future of the athletic department.
